In a medium saucepan, combine 2 cups water, lemon and orange slices, cinnamon stick, cloves and dried fruit. Bring to boil. Remove from heat. Cover and let stand 30 minutes. While fruit is soaking, combine remaining ingredients (except for topping) in a bowl. Let stand for at least 15 minutes. Drain fruit. Remove and discard cinnamon stick, and lemon and orange slices. Add orange juice and pineapple mixture to drained fruit in saucepan. Bring to boil and simmer 15 minutes or until thickened. Serve hot or chilled with sour cream, whipped cream, or vanilla yogurt.
